Responsibilities

• Read and apply blueprints, sketches and building plans.
• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Prepare layout using voltage testers, wire strippers, level, pipe benders, etc.
• Terminate panels using LOTO.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions with others.
• Run cable tray, pull wire and bend conduits.
• Understand motor controls and metering; size branch circuits.
• Calculate loads for single and three-phase circuits.
• Review differences in size, shape and form of lines and objects.
• Follow plans and blueprints; work overhead or in confined spaces.
• Lift and carry objects; detect and respond to dangerous conditions.
