Job summary

Unknown Company is seeking an experienced electrical technician to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and code specifications for industrial electrical installations.

You will install, test, repair, and troubleshoot wiring, switchgear, transformers, motors, and control systems while following NEC and local codes. The position is a full-time day shift.

Salary is $23.00 per hour DOE; candidate will use meters and testing equipment; previous PLC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and meters.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical code specs.
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cables, lighting fixtures and other components.
• Test electrical/electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters and regulators.
• Repair, test and install electrical motors, generators and control systems; calibrate instrumentation.
