Job summary

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for projects located in or around Greenbrook, MS. This is a first shift opportunity with pay rates of $40-$60/hour based on experience plus $160/day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site.

Ideal candidates will install, terminate, test, and commission medium-voltage systems, read drawings, and follow NEC/NFPA 70E safety standards. Travel and extended shifts are expected as project needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical construction experience at 5 kV and above.
• Experience installing and terminating 15 kV and/or 35 kV cable.
• Experience installing medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, GSUs, and related equipment.
• Ability to read medium-voltage one-line diagrams, cable schedules, and termination drawings.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910.269, lockout/tagout procedures, switching operations, and electrical clearances.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and commission medium-voltage electrical systems operating at 12.47 kV, 13.8 kV, and 34.5 kV.
• Install e-house MV switchgear, GSUs, MV cables, duct banks, and control wiring.
• Pull, rack, land, and terminate 15 kV and 35 kV cable using approved terminations.
• Install MV duct banks, manholes, raceways, and underground distribution systems.
• Support hipot, VLF, insulation-resistance testing procedures.
• Travel to project locations and work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
