Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to support the manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints and schematics, install conduit and wiring, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.

The role requires three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work overtime and be on-call as needed. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work overtime/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, motors, generators, and controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, wiring, and other electrical components to specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical equipment and systems.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, welding equipment, and other maintenance equipment as needed.
• Support other team members through collaboration and communication.
• Uphold safety and housekeeping practices in shop and work area.
