Job summary

Bunge Morristown, IN is seeking an Electrician for our soybean processing facility. This role focuses on electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment, following electrical codes and blueprints. You will install wiring, diagnose issues, and program automated machinery to keep our plant running smoothly.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm, with some on-call hours. Join a team dedicated to safety, reliability, and efficient operations in a large-scale agro-processing facility.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience (5+ years preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman certification or verifiable equivalent qualifications.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Willing to work overtime and flexible hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, following electrical code and blueprints.
• Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus and replace damaged wires and cables.
• Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunctions with maintenance and engineering teams.
• Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, and motors.
• Operate equipment with programmable controllers to program automated machinery.
• Test for malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Plan wiring layouts and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as assigned.
• Work closely with electrical contractors and create project material lists.
