Ford Motor Company in Lincoln, NE is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing electrical systems across our facilities, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Starting pay is $44.915 per hour, rising to the top rate of $45.115 after three months, plus overtime and holiday premiums. Eligibility for healthcare, retirement plans, and bonuses is part of the comprehensive benefits package.

Competenze

• Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship or 8 years of relevant experience.

Rate of Pay and Benefits:

Electricians are paid a top hourly base rate of $45.115, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is $44.915 with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment.

Ability to perform tasks of the trade, stand for extended periods, walk unassisted, work at heights, work overhead including on ladders and platforms and manipulate tools typical of the trade. Tasks will require a certain amount of reaching, lifting, twisting, bending, and use of a PMHV or hilo. Ability to perceive differences in details and prints related to trade. Must be able to effectively maneuver about vehicles, equipment, assembly lines or stations, and about facility.

Candidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.

Proficiency in reading hardware and ladder logic prints, troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems and equipment (e.g. Fanuc. ABB, Kawasaki). Working knowledge with PLCs (e.g. Allen Bradley, Square D, Control Logix) servo controls and variable frequency drives is required.

Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check are required. Drug panel does not include THC.
