Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Electrician Lead to join our first shift team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves leading a crew to perform power-related maintenance and repairs, with duties including reading schematics, troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs, and coordinating with facilities engineers.

The position supports our 24/7 operation and requires SHP safety adherence. Typical schedule is 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with potential for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Electrician certificate or apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical oneliners and schematics incl. European standards.
• Experience with voltages up to 15 kV and safe electrical work practices.
• Must be able to obtain STS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform all power-related maintenance, repairs and projects as required.
• Lead technicians and balance workload; report to supervisors.
• Conduct safety audits and adhere to safety programs.
• Read schematics and troubleshoot controls and electrical equipment.
• Maintain CMMS documentation and communicate issues to client.
