Job summary

APHENA PHARMA SOLUTIONS-MARYLAND LLC in Easton, MD is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for the Liquid and Topicals Division. You will perform electrical, electronic and mechanical repairs, read diagrams, and help keep production lines running smoothly.

The role requires high school education and knowledge of OSHA/State electrical regulations, with hands-on experience in PLC changes and industrial electronics. This position is full-time and on-site in Easton, Maryland.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of OSHA/State electrical codes.
• Experience with electrical/electronic and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and perform adjustments to improve productivity.
• Strong computer literacy (Excel/Word) and ability to record work orders.
• Familiarity with power distribution and 480V systems.
• Experience with PLC programming/modification and industrial electronics.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems quickly and effectively.
• Identify and repair electrical problems, including wiring, breakers, fuses, panels and transformers.
• Train and mentor electrical technicians to become electricians.
• Read and understand electrical diagrams, sketches, and schematics.
• Redesign/modify PLC and other electronic programs to optimize machinery outputs.
• Layout, design and assemble electrical projects such as cabinets or sensor power runs.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments.
• Schedule and perform electrical machine maintenance as needed.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting production machinery.
• Coordinate/specify ordering of electrical components to complete tasks.
• Maintain documentation of electrical requirements for facilities and machinery.
• Record maintenance information as work orders in the software.
• Operate fabrication equipment (drill press, band saw, etc.).
• Assist engineering with process analysis and electrical change implementations to boost productivity and cost savings.
• Serve as team leader on electrical projects.

Qualifications: Job Tasks:

• Identify and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems quickly and effectively.
• Identify and repair electrical problems, regarding, wiring, breakers, fuses, panels and transformers.
• Have a detailed and extensive knowledge on OSHA/State of Maryland electrical regulations and be able to ensure compliance.
• Train and mentor electrical technicians to become electricians.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic diagrams, sketches, ect.
• Ability to redesign/modify existing PLC and other electronic programs to enhance or change machinery outputs.
• Ability to layout, design and assemble various electrical projects, such as building an electrical cabinet or running power to sensors.
• Interface with vendors and all internal departments.
• Schedule and perform electrical machine maintenance as needed.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting production machinery.
• Coordinate/specify the ordering of electrical components required to complete assigned tasks.
