Job summary

Aerotek in Ladson, SC is hiring an Electrician to install, test, and maintain electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will read blueprints, terminate cables, and troubleshoot to ensure safe, efficient operation while collaborating with a team to deliver quality work.

The role requires at least 5 years of electrical experience, ability to read construction drawings, and a valid South Carolina driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in electrical work, preferably in commercial/industrial settings.
• Experience reading blueprints and construction drawings.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Perform wiring for commercial and industrial applications, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits and systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Accurately perform cable and wire terminations for panels, equipment, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to plan and execute electrical installations.
• Pull wire and bend, run, and install conduit as required for various projects.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects on time and within scope.
• Use electrical tools and test equipment safely and effectively during installation and service work.
• Apply a strong understanding of electrical systems, service diagnostics, NEC requirements, and safe work practices.
• Assist with or perform service-related work, including diagnosing issues and providing solutions for customers.
• Support estimating efforts by providing input on labor, material, and job-cost information when needed.
• Help manage multiple service calls, deadlines, and customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members, technicians, and customers regarding work status, issues, and solutions.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability in daily tasks and interactions with the team.
