Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Electrical Foreman for North Charleston, SC. This on-site, contract-to-hire role involves leading electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across industrial and commercial sites, including water treatment facilities.

The position requires strong conduit and ductbank experience, blueprint reading, safety compliance, and the ability to coordinate with site teams. A Journeyman license is preferred; travel and weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
• Journeyman electrician license preferred and demonstrates advanced proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures in industrial/commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in water treatment plants and other industrial/commercial environments.
• Bend and install conduit (EMT and rigid) with precise measurements and layout.
• Run conduit and ductbank systems per project specs and electrical codes.
• Pull wire and complete terminations for safe, efficient operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Coordinate daily work activities on industrial/commercial sites to meet schedules.
• Ensure all installations comply with codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions.
• Collaborate with construction teams and other trades to integrate electrical work into projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; manage tools and materials.
