Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Electrician to support our Rocket Center, West Virginia site. The role involves independent electrical work across industrial equipment, power distribution, and control systems in a manufacturing environment.

The candidate must have a journeyman license or equivalent, a high school diploma, and 3 years of industrial electrical experience. It requires capable handling of high voltage and various automation systems, with overtime possible to meet production

Qualifications

Journeyman electrician license or 2-year accredited technical school.
High school diploma/GED.
Ability to work any shift; union seniority dictates shift.
3 years of industrial electrical experience.
Strong understanding of electronics: SCRs, motors, PLCs, sensors.
Safety with high voltage (480 VAC and 7200 VAC) power distribution.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of electrical tasks independently.
Repair and maintain all industrial plant electrical equipment.
Repair/install general power and lighting; service machinery (ovens, CNC, HVAC, fire controls, etc.).
Troubleshoot and repair distribution lines and boiler controls.
Support management strategies, promote safety, and meet production needs.
Overtime may be required to support operations.
