Job summary

American Crystal Sugar is seeking experienced electricians to maintain, troubleshoot and install electrical systems in Crookston, MN. You’ll work with high- and low-voltage systems, PLCs, drives, and automated controls in a large industrial operation.

Qualifications include a Journeyman Class A license, a 2-year technical degree, 3,000+ hours of experience, and familiarity with SAP. The role features 12-hour rotating day/night shifts and compliance with OSHA/NEC standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Class A Electrical license
• 3,000+ hours of electrician experience
• Industrial electrical experience (high and low voltage)
• Knowledge of motors, drives, relays and control systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and manuals
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, DC drives, and SAP CM/SAP system
• Commitment to OSHA/N EC safety standards

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on industrial equipment
• Install, replace and maintain electrical systems per NEC/OSHA/local codes
• Diagnose high-voltage and low-voltage systems (up to 12,470V)
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and interlocking systems
• Utilize SAP maintenance system to document work and track repairs
• Collaborate with team, train apprentices and minimize downtime
