Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Vineland, NJ seeks a maintenance technician specializing in electrical and control systems used in food manufacturing. The role emphasizes documentation, diagnostics, and hands-on work with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms.
You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on batching and process control systems, read engineering diagrams, and keep accurate records.
Qualifications
- AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
- High school/military training with practical experience in electrical/control systems.
- Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi software and preventive maintenance software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
- Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing electrical or control issues.
- Provide training and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts as needed.
- Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure production equipment is maintained per the production schedule.
- Conduct inspections safely while equipment is operational.
- Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on batching and process control systems.
