Job summary

Ground/Water Treatment & Technology, LLC (GWTT) is seeking an Industrial Electrician in Wharton, NJ. The role requires 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience, with 480V 3-phase work and strict adherence to NEC/NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.

You will interpret schematics, install and test components, and support field projects. We offer competitive pay ($25-$50 hourly) and a benefits package including medical and dental plans, paid holidays, vacation, and a 401k.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in an industrial electrical setting.
• Experience with 480 volt, 3 phase.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910/1926.
• Explosion-proof wiring experience is a plus.
• Own hand tools required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen.
• 70 E authorized and trained.
• OSHA 10 hour or obtain after employment.
• Able to pass physical/respirator fit test.
• OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper or obtain after employment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and instructions.
• Lay out, assemble, installation, and testing of electrical components such as motors, instrumentation, light fixtures, circuit breakers and transformers.
• Testing, troubleshooting and repair of control panels, electric motors and electrical equipment.
• Isolate and repair defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment.
• Bending and installation of rigid PVC and EMT conduit.
• Pulling electrical cables and wires.
• Ability to utilize electrical hand tools, and voltage and amperage measuring and recording devices.
• Daily interaction with customers, vendors, suppliers, and coworkers.
• Other duties include assisting the maintenance department with any/all general maintenance and construction duties
