Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have NM Journeyman license and be able to read electrical blueprints.
• Experience installing and maintaining electrical systems in industrial/agricultural settings.
• Strong knowledge of safety codes and preventive maintenance.
• Bi-lingual English/Navajo is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures per job specs and codes.
• Inspect electrical systems and components for hazards and compliance.
• Test circuits and systems using meters to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Diagnose malfunctions and locate causes using test equipment and tools.
• Prepare work area and follow blueprints; ensure building and safety code conformance.
• Coordinate with utility companies for service drops and connections.
• Communicate with crop and department managers to meet goals.
