John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, IL is seeking an Electrical Machine Maintenance technician (Industrial Electrician). You will lay out, install, and maintain complex electrical circuits and equipment, diagnose issues, and ensure safety, quality, and teamwork on the shop floor.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical safety codes, versatility with high voltage work, and the ability to work various shifts with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, NCRC, or 3 years manufacturing work experience.
• Electrical journeyperson's card or 8 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of national/local electrical safety codes.
• Ability to perform manual tasks (standing, walking, bending, lifting).
• Willingness to work any shift and potential overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, install, modify and maintain complex electrical circuits and equipment.
• Diagnose and remedy electrical issues while focusing on safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Plan work sequence and select materials and tools needed for tasks.
• Establish distribution centers, balance loads and wire multi-unit circuits.
• Install and maintain motors, generators, transformers, and control systems.
• Support team members and work with minimal supervision.
