Job summary

Aerotek in Groton, CT seeks an Industrial Electrician (E2 Licensed) to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and test electrical and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting. You will work under general supervision with strong independence, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, OSHA, and company policies.

Requirements include a Connecticut E2 license and 4+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, plus proficiency reading schematics and performing safe, preventive maintenance and repairs

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut E2 Journeyperson Electrical License.
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressive industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment and control systems.
• Troubleshoot issues using schematics and documentation to identify root causes.
• Inspect and test electrical systems to verify operation and compliance.
• Work independently under general supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Maintain safety through LOTO, housekeeping, and Arc Flash compliance.
• Identify and apply applicable safety regulations and codes.
• Assess hazards and implement controls to protect personnel.
• Report unsafe acts and conditions to leadership and safety personnel.
• Comply with OSHA, state, federal, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
