Job summary

Mmsteam is seeking an Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician in Pekin, IL to support CNC machines, PLC systems, and industrial electrical equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V, diagnose PLC issues (Allen-Bradley focus), and work on CNC machine tools to keep production moving.

You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and support installs; 3-5+ years of experience are expected, with a journeyman license or electrical training preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of industrial electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V systems.
• Experience reading schematics and prints; manufacturing environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase).
• Diagnose and fix PLC issues (Allen-Bradley primarily).
• Work on CNC machines and machine tool systems.
• Repair motors, VFDs, control panels, and components.
• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Support equipment installs, upgrades, and improvements.
• Respond to breakdowns and get machines back online quickly.

You'll be working hands-on with CNC machines, PLC systems, and industrial electrical equipment, solving real problems that keep operations running.

What You'll Be Doing
