Competitive Engineering (CEI) in Tucson, AZ seeks an Electrician to keep production equipment, building systems, and facility power reliable and code compliant. You will perform electrical maintenance on CNC machine systems, motors, drives, and control panels, and support surge protection and new equipment installations.

This on-site, hands-on role partners with the Maintenance Lead and the machine maintenance crew, and requires on-call responsiveness.

Qualificações

3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience.
Working knowledge of the NEC and applying it to installation and repair.
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems on industrial equipment (motors, drives, control panels).
HVAC preventive maintenance experience or collaboration with HVAC techs.
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel schedules.
Comfort with hand and power tools, meters, and standard electrical test equipment.
Strong lockout/tagout and electrical safety practices.
U.S. Person per ITAR 22 CFR 120.62.
Journeyman electrician license or equivalent trade credential.
Experience with CNC machine tool electrical systems, servo drives, and machine controls.

Responsabilidades

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems supporting production equipment and facility power.
Diagnose and fix electrical faults on CNC machines, motors, drives, and panels with maintenance crew.
Maintain and repair lighting, panels, disconnects, and low- to medium-voltage distribution.
Respond to equipment-down and electrical emergencies to minimize downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance on A/C/HVAC systems and production equipment.
Document PMs and history in the CMMS/ERP system.
Support electrical scope of new equipment installations and machine moves.
Coordinate with vendors and Manufacturing Engineering for electrical upgrades.
