Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks an experienced Industrial Electrician in Hastings, Michigan to maintain and improve automated manufacturing systems. You will install power distribution, troubleshoot electrical equipment, and support PLCs, robotics, and automation projects.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED with 1–3 years in industrial electrical maintenance, a Journeyperson license preferred, and familiarity with CMMS, schematics, and safety standards (OSHA/NFPA 70E).

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with industrial electrical experience.
Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent is preferred.
1–3 years in industrial electrical maintenance or related roles is preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and technical docs.
Basic PLC troubleshooting and robot/automation familiarity ideal.
CMMS usage and OSHA/NFPA70E safety proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Install and service power distribution, wiring, and electrical services for new/relocated equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems to minimise downtime.
Diagnose faults in motors, drives, relays, sensors, switches, transformers, and lighting.
Read schematics/diagrams and document repairs in the CMMS.
Assist with commissioning, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
