Job summary

Ashton North LLC seeks an Industrial Electrician for Hastings, MI to maintain automated manufacturing equipment and facility electrical systems. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical gear, support PMs, and assist with equipment installations.

Work with cross-functional teams to maximise uptime and drive improvements. The role requires a journeyperson license or equivalent, 1–3 years of experience, and strong knowledge of safety, CMMS, and PLC-based systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Federal/State or Union Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent is preferable.
• 1–3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, motors, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting and familiar with robotics and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire power distribution for new and relocated equipment.
• Install, commission, and support robots, conveyors, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to minimise downtime.
• Document repairs and maintenance in the CMMS as required.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Assist with equipment commissioning and continuous improvement projects.
