Job summary

ESS Metron is seeking an Industrial Electrician in Denver, CO to install electrical controls, wiring, safety and lighting systems based on technical blueprints. The role emphasizes safety and accuracy in a high-risk environment, with responsibilities spanning conduit work, control panels, and medium voltage terminations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of industrial/commercial electrician experience, and a current Journeyman Electrician

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum five years of experience as industrial or commercial electrician.
• Current Journeyman Electrician License (CO or reciprocal state) is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly/schematic drawings and receive verbal instructions regarding work assignments.
• Run conduit up to 4” in diameter including RMC, and bend conduit up to 2” EMT and 1” RMC.
• Use all pertinent hand tools as related to commercial/industrial electrical installation.
• Take direction and assess electrical requirements per task assigned.
• Terminate all wire sizes up to 500 KCMIL.
• Control panel make up and phasing.
• Medium voltage termination and phasing.

PDC Electricians are responsible for installing electrical controls, wiring, safety, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, PDC Electricians must be responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING, OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:

• Able to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly / schematic drawings and receive verbal instructions regarding work assignments.
• Ability to Run conduit up to 4” in diameter including RMC, also the ability bend conduit up to 2” Diameter EMT and 1” Diameter RMC.
• Ability to use all pertinent Hand tools as it relates to the Commercial / Industrial Electrical Installation processes.
• Ability to take direction and assess Electrical Requirements per task assigned.
• Ability to Terminate all wire sizes up to 500 KCMIL.
• Control Panel Make up and phasing.
• Medium Voltage Termination and phasing.
