Job summary

Pacific Northern Environmental LLC is hiring an Apprentice Electrician to support Journeyman Electricians across commercial and industrial sites on the West Coast. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, safety, and adherence to code, with opportunities to grow within a multi-division organization.

You will work on electrical installations, read blueprints, and contribute to a team focused on quality work in demanding environments. Local travel and training are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must hold WA/OR electrical apprentice license in good standing.
• Enrolled in approved apprenticeship program with valid license.
• Minimum 1 year industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Facial hair standards may apply per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles for job duties.
• Learn from Journeyman Electrician and complete assigned duties.
• Assist with installation of electrical systems per blueprints and NEC codes.
• Pull wire, install conduit, lighting, panels per project specs.
• Identify, analyze and troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Follow safety practices, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Travel to various job sites to assist Journeyman Electrician.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and site plans.
• Record work logs and assist with administrative duties.
• Communicate with clients professionally.
• Coordinate with other trades in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend safety briefings and site meetings.
• Take direction from Foreman, Journeymen, and Project Managers.
• Maintain punctual attendance and team cooperation.
