Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• First year Electrical Apprentice with 6000 logged hours.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with heat trace troubleshooting.
• Basic electrical theory knowledge (Ohm's law).
• Install/modify cable tray and conduit with hand/power tools.
• Terminate high/low voltage equipment and cable/wiring.
• Color vision to identify cable types, gauges and colors.

Aufgaben

• Install conduit, cable tray and heat trace with limited supervision.
• Use ohm meters, multi-meters, and terminating devices.
• Identify safety risks and apply required precautions.
• Terminate wires to breakers, control panels and distributions.
• Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance.
• Set up and maintain temporary power systems.
• Maintain grounding systems for equipment and structures.
