Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking an entry-level Electrical trainee to support field and shop maintenance of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will assist electricians, learn to read simple diagrams, and help install and repair wiring and components.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment. Candidates should be able to lift and operate basic tools and drive a service vehicle if required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License or be able to obtain one.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn simple algebraic calculations (pipe bending) and read basic electrical sketches.

Responsibilities

• Assist a skilled electrician by supplying materials, equipment, and tools at the scene of jobs.
• Participate in stringing overhead/underground lines and installing conduit and wire.
• Learn and perform routine installations and repairs of fuses, motors, sensors, including terminations and electrical construction.
