Job summary

Strike Group is seeking a Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician to support E&I projects across Alberta. The role involves calibration, repair, installation, and testing of instrumentation on existing and new equipment.

A culture of safety and adherence to Strike’s values are emphasized. Qualifications include a valid Journeyperson certificate, willingness to indenture as an apprentice Electrician, and Swagelok Installation training.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Journeyperson certificate
Must be willing to indenture as an Apprentice Electrician
Swagelok Installation training completed
Tubing experience and knowledge required
Strong commissioning skills are an asset

Responsibilities

Operate pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and composition
Test accuracy of flowmeters, gauges, indicators, controllers and other instruments
Calibrate, repair, maintain and adjust system components and install instruments on equipment
Prepare schematic drawings, sketches and reports reflecting changes to instruments and systems
Assist in estimating as required
