Selectemp in Albany, Oregon is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical electrical systems in a premier wood products facility. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, installing and maintaining wiring, and supporting production with proactive maintenance.

You’ll work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation (days and nights, 7:00–7:00) with a start ASAP. Oregon license required; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active Oregon electrical license—LME, PJ, or J— or an equivalent reciprocal state license is required.
• Experience troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, and industrial electrical systems.
• Proficiency with standard electrical testing equipment (DMMs, VOMs, Meggers).
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving plant equipment, motors, and control systems.
• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, PLC systems, and other electrical components.
• Work with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment, including DMMs, VOMs, and Meggers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with electrical and workplace safety requirements.
• Partner with team members to improve processes and reduce equipment downtime.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
