Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for a steady 12-hour day shift (2-2-3 rotation) at a premier continuous manufacturing facility in Washington, GA. You’ll troubleshoot, work with 480V three-phase power, and handle Allen-Bradley PLCs and drive systems.

Starting salary range $58,000–$67,000 per year with overtime, safety protocols, and opportunities to support multi-million dollar lines on the plant floor. High school education required; 3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
• Experience reading blueprints/electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs and drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex manufacturing electrical and electronic systems.
• Program, monitor, and troubleshoot PLCs and I/O modules.
• Calibrate, service, and configure VFDs and motor control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and control drawings.
• Perform diagnostic testing on live, energized circuits up to 480V 3-phase.
• Execute NFPA 70E safety protocols, Arc Flash boundaries, and LOTO procedures.
• Install, align, and replace motors, starters, contactors, and disconnects.
• Service process sensors, load cells, encoders, and 4–20mA loops.
• Conduct PM and instrument calibrations across the plant floor.
• Log troubleshooting data and parts usage in the CMMS.
• Support line modifications and capital upgrades with engineering/maintenance teams.
• Maintain clean, organized panels and work areas per 5S standards.
• Comply with ISO quality metrics, environmental regulations, and safety mandates.

We’re looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician ready to step into a steady 12-hour day shift (2-2-3 rotation) at a premier continuous manufacturing facility in Washington, GA. If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, working with 480V three-phase power, and digging into Allen-Bradley PLCs and drive systems, you will feel right at home here. Starting at $28.00 – $32.00/hour (depending on experience)with built-in built-in overtime, you’ll get the predictability of full daytime hours combined with three-day weekends every other week. This is an active, collaborative plant floor where your electrical diagnostics directly keep multi-million dollar lines running smoothly, not just patching quick fixes. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex manufacturing electrical and electronic systems.
• Program, monitor, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and I/O modules.
• Calibrate, service, and configure Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems.
• Read and interpret single-line schematics, electrical blueprints, and control drawings.
• Perform diagnostic testing on live, energized circuits up to 480V 3-phase.
• Execute NFPA 70E safety protocols, Arc Flash boundaries, and LOTO procedures.
• Install, align, and replace AC/DC industrial motors, starters, contactors, and disconnects.
• Service and tune process sensors, load cells, optical encoders, and 4–20mA loops.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PM) and instrument calibrations across the plant floor.
• Log all troubleshooting data, labor hours, and replacement parts into the plant CMMS.
• Assist engineering and maintenance teams with line modifications and capital upgrade projects.
• Maintain clean, organized panels and work areas aligned with plant 5S standards.
• Comply with ISO quality metrics, environmental regulations, and corporate safety mandates.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
