Job summary
ProAmpac, a leading flexible packaging company in Wisconsin, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to support electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a day shift. You will read schematics, troubleshoot control panels, measure components, and perform repairs to sustain production and safety standards.
Candidates should have an electromechanical apprenticeship or equivalent, plus 7+ years in manufacturing and strong PLC knowledge.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in a manufacturing facility or equivalent.
- Completed an Electromechanical Apprenticeship Program in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced skills in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems and PLC programming.
Responsibilities
- Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed specifications.
- Read technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and fluid measurements using appropriate tools.
- Troubleshoot control panels and instrument systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
- Operate cranes, power tools, hoists, and hand tools safely.
