Job summary

Foss Recycling Inc in La Grange, NC seeks an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment across our recycling facilities. The role requires hands-on work and travel to other Foss locations as needed.

Candidates should have strong experience with 480V three-phase power, motor controls, PLCs, and preventive maintenance, and must read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Industrial Electrician in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of 480V three-phase power and motor controls.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of NEC safety standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose 480V power, motors, controls, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Read schematics and diagrams and document repairs.
• Travel to Foss Recycling locations as needed for maintenance.
