Saint-Gobain is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in an industrial setting in Norwood, MA. The role emphasizes electrical infrastructure, power distribution, motors, and safety systems.

The position requires Massachusetts state licensure, experience with electrical schematics and relay-based controls, and a strong safety mindset aligned with OSHA standards. Shifts include a 3rd or 2nd rotation with training supported on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts State Electrician’s License.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with relay-based electrical control systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.

Responsabilités

• Plan, install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, circuit breaker panels, switches, relays, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine electrical maintenance and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Service motors, motor starters, safety circuits, and power distribution systems.
• Apply OSHA safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical testing practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to electrical maintenance and repairs.
