Job summary

Prysmian in Rhode Island is seeking an experienced Electrician with 3-phase, 480V, and industrial troubleshooting experience to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment on continuous manufacturing equipment.

The role requires RI Journeyman license and 2+ years of journey-level electrical experience, with overtime and weekend coverage as needed. The position offers a 3rd shift schedule and a pay rate of $51.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• RI Journeyman license is required.
• 2+ years of journey-level industrial electrical experience.
• Pass pre-employment background, drug, and work screening.
• Regular shift 8 hours; overtime on weekends and callouts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical equipment on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Adhere to safety regulations with required PPE.
• Program VFDs and troubleshoot PLCs.
• Operate forklift/high lift safely.
