MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance in a heavy manufacturing environment in Charleston, SC. This hands-on role requires diagnosing production equipment failures and keeping machinery running safely and reliably.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting 480V three-phase systems, PLCs/HMIs, and conveyors, plus reading schematics and performing preventive maintenance. 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with two paid 20-minute breaks.

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in a heavy manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on position for someone who is comfortable working independently, diagnosing production equipment failures, and keeping machinery running safely and reliably.
Troubleshoot and repair 480V three-phase electrical systems, motors, motor controls, MCCs, transformers, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial controls.
Troubleshoot electrical issues on conveyors, motors, pumps, and heavy production equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to minimize production downtime.
Install and replace motors, electrical components, wiring, conduit, and control devices.
Assist with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment when needed.
Respond independently to production breakdowns and identify the root cause of equipment failures.
Follow Lockout/Tagout, OSHA, and electrical safety procedures.
5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Strong experience troubleshooting three-phase industrial electrical systems.
Hands‑on experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, and industrial controls.
Experience working on production or heavy manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics.
Comfortable working independently on 3rd shift from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
Experience with conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.
Steel, metals, automotive, heavy manufacturing, or similar industrial experience is preferred.
