Job summary

3M is seeking an Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems around heavy machinery at our facility. You will replace faulty components, diagnose issues, and support installation of new equipment to keep production running smoothly.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or higher, five years of electrician experience, and California license/certification. Ability to work weekends, overtime, and 2 PM–10 PM shift as needed is required. Relocation and travel may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or higher completed and verified.
• Five years of electrician experience around heavy machinery.
• Certified and licensed Electrician in California.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime and 2nd shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Replace faulty electrical components on equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers and motors.
• Install and repair electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of failures.
• Assist with new equipment projects and modifications.
• Follow NEC, schematics, blueprints and company policies.
