Job summary

BHS Corrugated is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician to support our Digital Print operations in Temple, TX. This hands-on role focuses on industrial electrical and PLC troubleshooting, with travel to other customer sites as needed.

Travel is primarily to the Temple-area operation, with opportunity to work with BHS technical teams and customers. Printing experience is not required; industrial maintenance or automation backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and control systems.
• Proficient with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, and drives.
• Able to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and control systems.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, sensor, motor, drive, and communication issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Digital Print equipment.
• Read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and drawings.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and minimize downtime.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning.
• Work directly with customers and BHS technical teams.
• Travel to other customer sites as needed for service support and training.

BHS Corrugated is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician to support our growing Digital Print operations in Temple, TX.

Location: Temple, TX

Travel: Primarily supporting the Temple-area Digital Print operation, with travel to other customer sites as needed.

Salary– DOE with lots of perks

This is a hands‑on technical role for someone with strong industrial electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience. The primary focus will be supporting BHS Digital Print equipment in the Temple area, with travel to other customer locations as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and control systems
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, sensor, motor, drive, and communication issues
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Digital Print equipment
• Read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and drawings
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and minimize downtime
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning
• Work directly with customers and BHS technical teams
• Travel to other customer sites as needed for service support and training

What We’re Looking For

• Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience working with PLCs and automated equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Experience with VFDs, motors, sensors, controls, and industrial networks
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability is a plus
• Comfortable working independently in a customer‑facing environment
• Willingness to travel when needed

Printing experience is not required. We’re especially interested in candidates coming from industrial maintenance, automation, controls, manufacturing, packaging, converting, or field service backgrounds.
