Job summary

OpSource partnered with an industrial construction company in Spartanburg, SC to hire an experienced Industrial Electrician for a first-shift role. The position involves reading blueprints, installing and testing wiring, conduits and control systems, and maintaining equipment. Applicants should have 3–5 years in industrial settings and be comfortable with heights and OSHA safety rules.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders and other components.
• Test electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Maintain and test switchgear, transformers and switchboard meters.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and report violations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and schematics for layout of electrical installations.
• Install, test, and maintain wiring, conduits and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and control devices to ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain shop and site tools and keep work area clean.
• Work with supervisors to complete projects safely and on time.
