Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduit systems, fixtures, and various industrial electrical devices.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electrical systems, including VFDs, motor control systems, and AC/DC control circuits. Perform PLC diagnostics and repairs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide reliable electrical support across departments.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable safety and operational standards at federal, state, local, and customer levels.
  • Follow machine safety protocols, including the use of safety switches and guards.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in the setup and installation of changeover components as needed.
  • Work may occur in varying conditions such as dusty, hot, cold, humid, or wet environments, indoors or outdoors, depending on the task.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to assemble, install, test, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in compliance with relevant codes.
  • Experience working with 480-volt, 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in setting up and using PLCs and VFDs.
  • Skilled in using electrical testing equipment like voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
