Standard Forged Products is looking for an Industrial Electrician. As an Electrical Technician, you will work with a dedicated team committed to quality and safety.

Location:

Mckees Rocks, PA

Shift:

Primarily daylight, but must be able to work any shift, including covering 3-11 one week per month

What you’ll do:

1. Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment or finished product electronic components, parts, switch panels, electronic equipment, and systems.
2. Test new equipment, troubleshoot operation, and make minor adjustments.
3. Perform high voltage electrical repairs (e.g., controls, relays). Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components following electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
4. Troubleshoot and repair electronic, mechanical, or electrical computer-controlled equipment.
5. Input or perform PLC and/or CNC programming as needed.
6. Follow all safety rules and practices, and participate in safety initiatives.
7. Perform advanced repairs, troubleshoot electrical issues, and conduct preventative maintenance on electrical wiring and components.
8. Install electrical panels, relays, and switches.
9. Read and troubleshoot basic PLC programming.

What you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of related electrical experience.
• Understanding of electrical principles and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and test electrical applications.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production, and non-production areas, and plant grounds.
• May require work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Tolerance of high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of manufacturing plants.

• Follow safety rules and participate in safety committees and initiatives.
