Qualifications

  • Prior industrial electrical experience
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to read, interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and write routine reports
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic across units of measure
  • Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills
  • Ability to wear PPE as required
  • Ability to work in dusty conditions, using breathing protection devices as required

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and extensive preventive maintenance and repair on electrical and mechanical systems of production equipment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to supervisors and production staff
  • Support safety, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing projects
  • Perform preventive inspections and maintenance on plant production and support equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical repairs on automated equipment
  • Test, install, and repair plant equipment and machinery
  • Perform basic mechanical work as required
  • Document work in SAP Maintenance System and communicate activities daily
  • Use software and laptop to interface with AB/Rockwell PLCs, VFD drives, and servo systems
  • Work with 24Vdc control voltage and 480Vac power
  • Observe compliance practices such as GMP, Food Safety, Health & Safety, LOTO, and Arc Flash
  • Train other maintenance and operations staff to improve machine productivity

Job description

  • Ability to work in dusty conditions, using breathing protection devices as required

You have proven industrial electrical maintenance experience. Skilled in troubleshooting PLC, VFD, and servo systems. Comfortable working overtime in dusty, safety-critical environments
