Job summary

Arconic Corporation is seeking Industrial Electricians for our maintenance team to support production by maintaining and servicing equipment in the Cast House, Cold Mill, and Hot Mill areas. The plant runs 24/7 with 12‑hour rotating shifts; Sundays paid premium; overtime opportunities; hourly wages paid weekly.

PPE and training are provided; this is a safety‑sensitive role. You will perform electrical repairs and preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and keep motors, drives, MCCs, lighting,

Qualifications

• Pass Electrical Accelerated Assessment Test.
• 2 years heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience or an associate degree/2 years military electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnostic troubleshooting for assigned department.
• Maintains AC/DC motors and drives, motor control centers, lighting fixtures, and related systems.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure equipment uptime.
• Must own personal tools and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work at elevated heights safely using ladders, scaffolds, or MEWP.

Job description

All About Maintenance:

As an employee working in our maintenance department, you help support our production departments by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines they use in their day-to-day which include the Cast House/Plate Maintenance, the Cold Mill/Mill Finish Maintenance, or the Hot Mill Maintenance departments.

Safety is our number one value. We will provide you with all the PPE and training you need to perform your job safely. The position is a safety sensitive position.

Schedule:

Our plant runs 24/7/365. Shifts are a 12-hour rotating shift (6a-6p or 6p-6a) on a 28-day cycle. Employees are scheduled 14 of the 28 days. There are mandatory and voluntary overtime opportunities. Sundays are always paid premium (time and a half). Hourly employees are paid weekly.

Key Responsibilities of Industrial Electricians:

• Provide electrical repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostic troubleshooting for assigned department
• Maintains AC/DC motors and drives, controls, motor control centers, conduit, lighting fixtures, pollution control and lubrication systems
• Perform safety inspections
• Prevent and minimize equipment downtime
• Problem solving electrical systems
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy weights up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform installation, maintenance, and inspection duties at elevated heights (e.g., on ladders, scaffolds, roofs, or mobile elevated work platforms) safely and efficiently
• Must own personal tools

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to successfully pass the Electrical Accelerated Assessment Test.
• 2 years heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and installing: 480 volt – 3 phase systems. AC/DC motors and drives, motor control centers, panel wiring, lighting fixtures, conduct, pollution control and lubrication systems; OR Advanced Technical Degree (associate in Specialized Trade in Electrical or Electronics field) or completion of degree by start date; OR 2 years Military experience in an electrical/electronic field (Provide copy of official MOS/AFSC with resume)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience
• 1+ year of experience with Oracle CMMS or similar system
• Good Communication skills; verbal and written and the ability to deal effectively with others.
