Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking Industrial Electricians for the Tilden Mine in Ishpeming, Michigan.

You will inspect, repair, install and wire electrical systems in plant and mining areas, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, and troubleshoot motors, transformers and electronic equipment. Qualified candidates have an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field or at least 2 years of directly related experience, can read safety information and procedures, and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
• Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to work overtime

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install and wire electrical apparatuses, devices, and circuits in the plant or mining areas
• Preventive & reactive maintenance

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Industrial Electricians at our Tilden Mine operations located in Ishpeming, Michigan. Industrial Electricians are responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing and wiring all electrical apparatuses, devices, and circuits in the plant or mining areas.

Summary of Responsibilities

Preventive & reactive maintenance

Troubleshooting and repair of motors, transformers, circuits and electronic equipment

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or other related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required

Preferred Qualifications

Preference for candidates with working knowledge in electrical maintenance in an industrial or mining environment.
