Industrial Electrician

Starting Pay Rate: $34.80

Shift: All shifts available based on union bids

Overtime available

Location: 3800 W 143rd Street, Cleveland, OH 44111

As a Industrial Electrician at the PPG Cleveland, OH plant, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the delivery of quality products to our customers. Your work will have a direct impact on people's lives.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery, following electrical codes, manuals, schematics, blueprints, and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
  2. Connect power supply wires and cables between machines and equipment, adhering to manuals and schematics.
  3. Diagnose malfunctions in transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, and other apparatus, using test equipment, and replace damaged wires or components.
  4. Replace faulty electrical parts such as relays, switches, and motors, and install sensing devices.
  5. Work with various voltages including 120V, 240V, and 480V, in single and three-phase circuits.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of electrical experience preferred or Journeyman's Card.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code.
