Lhoist Group is seeking a skilled Electrician in Burnet, Texas, responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance within the plant. The role involves troubleshooting systems, mentoring junior electricians, and complying with safety regulations.
Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and have at least 5 years of electrical experience. The position offers comprehensive benefits, including medical and retirement plans, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
A strong team member will perform duties including but not limited to electrician and all aspects of mechanical maintenance. The role requires troubleshooting issues to ensure all electrical and mechanical components are in good working order throughout the plant.
Ability to work outdoors in severe weather, high temperatures, noise, and dust; access all plant locations and lift loads over 50pounds. May involve heights of up to 190ft, confined spaces, ladders, stairs, or tunnels. Prior experience operating heavy equipment is desired.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
5+years electrical experience with demonstrated safe work practices; basic electrical and safety knowledge required. Must pass an electrical assessment test and have a minimum of 200 logged hours under an electrician’s supervision.
Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical program, or equivalent industrial experience.
