Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for purposes such as lighting, climate control, security, and communications.
• Work with blueprints for installing electrical systems in various facilities.
• Indicate circuit locations on blueprints.
• Install new electrical equipment and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Replace circuit breakers, fuses, switches, and other components.
• Collaborate with engineers or technicians as needed.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, state/local regulations, and OSHA standards during installations.
• Review specifications and blueprints for accuracy.
• Test and monitor electrical systems, recommending improvements.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and diagrams.
• Physical fitness for working in confined spaces and carrying equipment.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
• Attention to detail and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Valid Driver's License and background/drug screening clearance.
• Skills in troubleshooting and maintaining power distribution, control systems, and relay logic.
