Job summary

Bunge in Bellevue, Ohio is seeking a Plant Electrician to perform electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in a multi-purpose soybean processing facility.

The role is night shift, 4:45pm-5:00am, with weekend and overtime availability. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and installation work across high-power electrical systems and PLC/HMI components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Understanding of industrial plant electric distribution and control systems.
• Basic understanding of NFPA 70E and 70B codes.
• Ability to run rigid and flex conduit in the field.

Responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motor control and lighting systems.
• Work with three phase motors: starter sizes, overloads, heaters, wiring terminations, phase rotations.
• PLC main components familiarization, system troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
• Interpret instrumentation schematics/symbols, installation, troubleshoot and repair.
• Use HMI screens to troubleshoot and understand process controls.
• AC motor / VFD theories: VFD sizing, control wiring, installation and configuration, parameter modifications, VFD troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Install electrical conduit, cable trays, wiring, and electrical equipment.

A Day in the Life:

The Bunge North America Bellevue, Ohio location is looking for a Plant Electrician for our processing/refinery plant. This position is responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in a multi-purpose soybean processing facility.

Position Details:

Night shift; 4:45pm-5:00am (rotating 12-hour shifts)

Must have availability to work weekends and overtime as required

Pay: $35.81 - $40.44

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motor control and lighting systems
• Work with three phase motors: starter sizes, changing overloads & heaters, wiring terminations, phase rotations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• PLC main components familiarization, system troubleshooting, installation, and repair
• Interpret instrumentation schematics/symbols, installation, troubleshoot and repair
• Use HMI screens to troubleshoot and understand process controls
• AC motor / VFD theories: VFD sizing, control wiring, installation and configuration, parameter modifications, VFD troubleshooting and maintenance
• Install electrical conduit, cable trays, wiring, and electrical equipment
• Install small three phase transformers (sizing & wiring)
• Building emergency lighting battery UPS systems and inverter controls

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Understanding of industrial plant electric distribution systems & industrial plant control systems
• Basic understanding of the NFPA 70E and 70B Codes (safety and testing)
• Ability to run rigid and flex conduit in the field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Associates degree and / or technical certification
• Working knowledge of Electrical Hazardous Area Classifications (Class I & Class II)
