MGP Ingredients is hiring an Industrial Electrician for the Atchison, KS plant. You will join a team of electricians to keep electrical equipment running and lead/assist projects across the facility.

The role requires a HS diploma, PLC and drive system experience, color vision, and the ability to work in shifts including nights and overtime. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

• Ability to enter and interpret data from computer and operate computer controlled features in the plant.

MGP Ingredients is a leading supplier of premium distilled spirits and food ingredient solutions. Its Distilling Solutions segment provides bourbons, whiskeys, ryes, gins, and vodkas to craft and multinational brands. MGP's own Branded Spirts business is growing following the 2021 acquisition of Luxco, a top spirits producer, bottler, supplier, and importer as well as the 2023 acquisition of Penelope Bourbon, known for its wide range of uniquely blended expressions. Ingredient Solutions delivers nutritional, functional wheat- and pea-based ingredients aligned with consumer trends. The company operates in locations across the Midwestern U.S., and overseas in Northern Ireland and Mexico.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are hiring for an Industrial Electrician at our Atchison, KS plant. This position works as a member of a team of electricians to ensure that all electrical apparatus remain fully functional and completing projects throughout the plant.

This is an alternate/swing shift. Here is the tentative schedule:

• Monday and Tuesday 4:00pm - 12:00am.
• Thursday and Friday 11:45pm - 7:45am.
• Saturday - Off.
• Sunday 7:30pm - 4:00am.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Troubleshoot and repair problems with electrical equipment and instrumentation
• Installing, configuring, repairing and maintaining various brands of AC and DC electronic drives
• Troubleshoot and repair motor and control systems and PLCs
• Perform electrical building maintenance and repairs

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
