Job summary

K2 Space in Torrance, CA is seeking a skilled facilities electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in our industrial environment. The role requires handling 480V to 120V, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

You will program PLCs, diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site position offering equity and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facility electrician maintenance and coordination.
• Experience with electrical, basic plumbing, and carpentry work.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment in industrial settings, including machinery, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns.
• Install and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including motors, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices
