Job summary

Koss Industrial, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrical Technician to install, program, calibrate, inspect, test and repair industrial electrical systems and control panels for equipment used in manufacturing and food processing.

You will support in-house operations and customer installations while upholding NEC, UL and OSHA requirements. Responsibilities include wiring and commissioning panels, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ensuring high-quality, safe work at customer sites

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent.
3–5 years installing, troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems and controls.
Experience assembling, diagnosing and commissioning industrial electrical equipment and control systems.
Strong knowledge of motors, VFDs, PLCs, NEC up to 600 volts.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs and technical specs.
Willingness to travel to customer sites; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot and commission electrical control panels and systems.
Install, maintain and repair industrial electrical equipment, sensors, and pneumatic components.
Perform installations at customer sites in compliance with codes and customer specs.
Interpret schematics, diagrams and blueprints to complete work accurately.
Maintain UL 508A panels and ensure quality and safety compliance.
Document service work, inspections, testing and calibrations meticulously.
