Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Plant Electrical Reliability Technician for our Hammond, IN facility. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance across 120V/240V/480V systems, motors, and control panels.

You will interpret schematics, verify PLC I/O, and support mechanical repairs as needed in a safety-first chemical manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair 480V systems and components.
• Skilled reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (I/O verification, no coding).
• Strong preventive maintenance discipline and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to reduce downtime.
• Service 120V/240V/480V electrical systems and components.
• Repair/replace motors, starters, relays, contactors, transformers, disconnects and panels.
• Diagnose VFD and motor control issues; interpret schematics/blueprints.
• Install and repair sensors, switches, wiring, and electrical devices.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
