• Knowledge of NEC, state and local electrical codes and standards.
• Knowledge of electrical principles and quality methods and procedures.
• Skill in using inspection tools and instruments.
• Ability to read electrical plans, drawings, specs, and manuals.
• Ability to write clear inspection reports and notices of violation.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences clearly, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to apply sound judgment and discretion with codes and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect electrical systems and equipment per NEC and local codes.
• Test components for defects using meters, scopes, and testers.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specs, codes, and standards.
• Identify and report quality issues to supervisor or manager.
• Initiate and follow up on corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and results.
• Communicate inspection results and code requirements to contractors and owners.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical code interpretation and installation methods.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
